RecordX + Loom
How it will work
Loom is async video - a screen-and-camera clip you drop into Slack, Notion, or a doc. On the roadmap: paste a Loom share URL into RecordX and get a transcript, an AI summary, and action items back, indexed alongside your live-meeting recordings so a single search covers both. Loom's own transcript stays where it is; RecordX becomes the single place your team searches all recorded knowledge.
What works today
- Create your RecordX account at recordx.io/register.html.
- Download the Loom video from Loom's UI, then upload the file to the RecordX web app for transcript, summary, and action items.
- Install the RecordX Chrome extension for live meetings in the meantime.
Planned use cases
- Async product walkthroughs - the transcript makes them searchable months later.
- Sales prospecting Looms - action items land in the same feed as live discovery calls.
- Internal training videos - summary and chapters without editing the video.
- Bug-report Looms from customers - transcript in the ticket, not just the video link.
