RecordX for HR
Why you need it
RecordX joins the interview, captures the audio, and returns a structured summary you can share with the panel. Bias-free rubric fields land ready to fill in.
Sample interview: 30-minute HR screen for a senior back-end role
An HR partner runs a first-round phone screen with a senior back-end engineer candidate. RecordX captures the call, speaker-labels both sides, and returns a structured summary the hiring manager can read in two minutes.
Transcript excerpt
HR partner (Rotem Harel): Tell me about why you're looking to leave your current role.
Candidate (Idan Golan): Honestly, I joined to help rebuild the payments stack, and nine months later we're still fighting the same monolith we were supposed to replace. I want to work somewhere the plan on paper is the plan being executed.
HR partner: Fair. What are the two or three things that would make the next role a strong yes for you?
Candidate: Clear ownership of a service end-to-end. A team that uses code review as teaching, not scorekeeping. And room to go deeper on reliability. On-call that isn't a punishment.
HR partner: On compensation, where are you now and what are you targeting?
Candidate: I'm at 42k monthly base plus 10 percent equity vesting over four years. I would move for 48k base and comparable or better equity. Flexible on the mix.

FAQ
Can RecordX record in-person interviews?
Yes. The RecordX Android app records the room from your phone microphone. Start it, set the phone on the table, and stop when the interview ends. Speaker-labeled transcript and summary follow a minute later.
What about remote interviews on Zoom or Google Meet?
The RecordX Chrome extension records tab audio for Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. No bot joins the call so the candidate doesn't see an extra participant.
Is this safe for sensitive conversations like investigations?
Audio and transcripts are encrypted in transit and at rest. Source audio is deleted after processing. Transcripts stay for one year and can be deleted earlier. Always get consent before recording any employee conversation.
How do I share interview notes with the hiring panel?
Each interview gets its own summary page you can share with a link. Panel members jump straight to the candidate's own words, with speaker labels and timestamps.
Does it transcribe Hebrew and other languages?
Yes. RecordX transcribes and summarizes in 100+ languages and dialects including Hebrew, Arabic, English, Russian, Spanish, and French. Language is detected automatically for each recording.
