Where does redaction apply?

Every export - PDF, Word (.docx), HTML, and plain text - has a Redact PII toggle in the export menu. Share links from the mobile share sheet also carry a redaction toggle that is on by default. The raw transcript inside your own account stays intact; redaction happens on the way out.

Yes. The share-link toggle defaults to on so that anything you send outside the app is scrubbed unless you deliberately opt out. Exports let you pick per download - some downloads (a full internal record) want the raw text; others (a summary going to a client) want it redacted.

Can I still see the original inside my account?

Yes. Redaction is applied to the export or share output, not to the source transcript. Your own account keeps the full text so you can search it, replay it, or export it again without redaction.

How it works
