RecordX + Google Drive
How it will work
On the roadmap: connect a Google Drive folder to RecordX. Every audio or video file that shows up gets transcribed and summarized, and the transcript, summary, and action items land back in Drive as siblings - so a shared Drive folder for a project, matter, or client stays the single source of truth.
What works today
- Create your RecordX account at recordx.io/register.html.
- Download the audio or video from Drive and upload it to the RecordX web app for transcription, summary, and action items.
- Export the transcript from RecordX and upload it back to the same Drive folder.
Planned use cases
- Google Meet recordings that already save to Drive - summaries appear next to them without a second app.
- Shared client folders - transcript in the same folder the team already opens.
- Field interviews recorded to Drive from a phone - transcripts ready by the time you're at your desk.
- Lecture and training video archives - searchable transcript on every file.
