What you get
- Recording - HD capture on iOS, Android, and desktop that survives phone kills.
- Transcription - accurate speech to text across 100+ languages and dialects including Hebrew.
- AI summary - a real writeup for every meeting and call, not a bullet dump.
- Action items - follow-ups pulled from the conversation, ready to share.
- Phone calls - your own in-app phone number, inbound and outbound, HD stereo.
Find quotes across every interview
When you need a quote and only remember the topic, ask AI chat over your history "which interviews mentioned the water crisis?" or "find every source who talked about the December protests" - the answer comes back with quoted excerpts and timestamps across every interview you've recorded. Inside one interview, use AI chat per meeting to pull the exact words the source used.

Who it's for
Investigative reporters
Long interviews recorded end-to-end, transcribed with speaker labels. Pull the exact quote and the second it was said when the piece gets fact-checked.
Beat reporters and daily news
Phone, Zoom, and in-person interviews all end up in one library. Draft from the transcript while the conversation is still fresh.
Podcast producers and documentarians
Capture dozens of hours of tape. Search across every interview for the moment a theme or quote lives, build the story from the cards.
Freelance journalists
Record on your phone or laptop, no extra gear. The transcript and quote-ready pull-list is in your inbox before you leave the cafe.
Editors and desk chiefs
Review a reporter's interview transcript side by side with the draft. Spot missing context and check attribution without a replay.
Research and fact-check teams
Searchable archive of every interview the newsroom runs. Find the primary source for a quote or claim in seconds, not days.
FAQ
Does RecordX work for face-to-face interviews?
Yes. The Android app records the room from your phone microphone. Hit record, put the phone on the table, stop at the end. The transcript lands in the library a few minutes later.
What about phone and Zoom interviews?
Phone calls run through the in-app number and record both sides. For Zoom, Meet, and Teams the Chrome extension records tab audio with no bot joining the call.
Can I search across every interview on a story?
Yes. The library is searchable by phrase across every recording. Pull up every mention of a name, place, or claim in seconds and jump to the exact second.
What languages does it support?
RecordX transcribes and summarizes in 100+ languages including Hebrew, Arabic, English, Spanish, French, and Russian. The spoken language is detected automatically.
Is it safe for sensitive sources?
Audio and transcripts are encrypted in transit and at rest. Source audio is deleted after processing. Transcripts stay for one year by default and can be deleted at any time. The spoken content is never used to train AI models.
