What it does today

Calendly writes every booking to your Google or Outlook calendar the moment a prospect picks a slot, with the video link (Zoom, Meet, Teams) already baked in. RecordX watches that calendar - the Calendly event looks the same as any other meeting - so it auto-joins on time, records both sides, and delivers a transcript, summary and action items when the call ends. There's no separate Calendly connection to configure.

Setup

Create your RecordX account at recordx.io/register.html.
Install the RecordX Chrome extension or Android app.
Connect Google Calendar in RecordX settings (Outlook support is on the roadmap; use Google in the meantime).
Enable auto-join on the calendar that receives your Calendly bookings.
Make sure your Calendly event type is set to add a Zoom / Meet / Teams link to the event.
Book a test slot on your own Calendly link and confirm RecordX joins.

Permissions and scopes

Because the integration flows through the calendar, no Calendly scopes are requested. RecordX only holds the Google Calendar scopes described on the Google Calendar page. Calendly's own OAuth and API tokens stay with Calendly.

Pricing and limits

The Calendly flow is included with any RecordX plan at no extra cost. On the Calendly side, any tier that supports adding a Zoom / Meet / Teams link to events works, including Free. Higher Calendly tiers add round-robin, workflows and Salesforce sync - all still work; RecordX only cares about the resulting calendar event.

Common gotchas

The Calendly event needs the video link populated; a "phone" or "in-person" event type won't be joined automatically.
Round-robin: RecordX joins as whoever the routing picks - make sure they've connected Google Calendar to RecordX too.
Last-minute reschedules can push the meeting outside the auto-join window - the new time still shows up in RecordX search.
Calendly workflows that send reminders don't need any RecordX changes; the meeting joins based on the calendar entry, not the workflow.
