RecordX + Aircall

How it will work

Aircall sync is planned - it isn't shipping yet. Today RecordX has its own phone-number layer (see telephony carriers) and does not connect to Aircall over an API. When live, RecordX will pull Aircall call recordings into the unified library for transcript, AI summary, and action items, and push those summaries back to the Aircall contact record or the connected CRM.

Alternative: use the RecordX dialer

If you're just picking a phone system, RecordX already ships a built-in softphone with a real number, two-sided recording, and the transcript pipeline turned on by default. See telephony carriers for the RecordX phone plan.

Setup (roadmap)

  1. Create your RecordX account at recordx.io/register.html.
  2. Email us at support@recordx.io for early access.
  3. While the connector is being built: download the recording from Aircall and upload it to RecordX to get the transcript, summary, and action items today.
  4. Or move outbound calls to the RecordX phone and skip the Aircall handoff entirely - see telephony carriers.

Planned use cases

Planned scope

Pull Aircall call recordings into the unified RecordX library, transcribe and summarize them the same way as Zoom, Meet, and mobile phone calls, and land action items on the Aircall contact record (or the CRM record Aircall links to, when a CRM connector is also live). Transcripts stay in RecordX; the audio file Aircall already stores is not duplicated.

Planned OAuth / API

Aircall has a public REST API and an app-marketplace program. The RecordX side is scoped as an Aircall Marketplace app requesting call.read and contact.read at minimum, with the contact-write scope added once summary-push is wired. Nothing is granted today because no app is installed - the exact final scope list will match what ships.

Pricing and limits (planned)

Common concerns

Aircall already offers a built-in AI Voice Analytics add-on. If you're all-in on Aircall and don't need cross-tool coverage, Aircall's own product is the closer fit. RecordX makes sense when your team's calls span Aircall plus Zoom, Meet, Teams, or the mobile phone in your pocket, and you want one searchable library and one summary engine across all of them.

Alternatives while waiting

For a RecordX-first phone flow, use the built-in RecordX phone number - it's live today, records both sides, and drops the transcript straight into your library (see telephony carriers). If Aircall is a hard requirement for your team, sit on the waitlist and in the meantime download Aircall recordings and upload them into RecordX for the summary - the manual path works, it just needs a rep click.
